With experience providing audiological assessments as part of initial, triennial, and exit IEPs, BAER Audiology can provide comprehensive evaluations virtually or in person. Understanding Hearing: 

School administrators are rarely trained or educated on DHH students and Deaf Ed. Often described as the “invisible disability”, school districts can now book BAER Audiology for a Hearing Guide 101 lecture so school personnel can be better equipped with serving their students.

Educational Audiological Evaluations:

Service providers are often inundated with their workload & caseloads and educational audiologists, having no caseload cap, may be inundated even more so. Or in some cases, a school district may not have access to an educational audiologist for a full evaluation for a student who is deaf or hard-of-hearing. BAER Audiology can help through their comprehensive educational audiological evaluations and assessments, yearly services, or teacher consultations.

​If there’s a disagreement regarding an audiological or DHH educational assessment, BAER Audiology can complete an independent assessment that evaluates the student beyond the audiogram.
